2) Rule of Thumb
a) Optics vs Vents: If Med or Light and View Range with Vents is > 445m (max spot), use vents
b) V Stab vs GLD (Gun Laying Drive): Always V Stab if available, maybe both on tanks w/ horrible aim time like T34 (US T8 Prem Heavy) although V stab + Vents is worse on aim time but better on other stats.
Note: GLD is actually only a 9% improvement and bot GLD & V Stab work when moving, stationary, or rotating turret in spite of descriptions.

c) Tanks with horrible hull or turret traverse may choose Improved Rotation Mechanisim instead of or in addition to Vertical Stabilizers.
d) Improved Aiming is better than V Stabs for snipers.

5) Perk vs Skill
It used to be:
Perk = Does not work until 100%
Skill = works at reduced rate while learning. I.E. if 100% camo = 5% concealment, then 50% camo = 2.5% concealment
Now in WG's infinite wisdom, everything acts like a skill but it is called a perk.

6) Group skills and Perks
Some skills and perks require all crew members to have it to receive max/any benefit.
BIA = All must have at 100%
Camo/Repairs/Firefighting = reduced. So 5 crew with 4 camo at 50% = (4*50)/(5*100) = 40%

7) OPTIMAL RESET
Train in a skill like Camo. Once 100% is reached, gold reset to a perk like 6th Sense
